“...I’d heard nothing but good things about him [TJ] and the AMP Family so I decided to join. I haven’t looked back since. In the time I’ve been an AMP Athlete, I’ve gained about 20 solid pounds. It’s amazing to see the weights I’m lifting continually become heavier and heavier. It’s a great feeling seeing the work I’m doing with the AMP staff translate to the diamond. I’ve seen a huge improvement in all 5 of my tools. If you want to train like an athlete and have fun while you’re doing it, become a part of the AMP Family. You won’t regret it.

We had the pleasure of meeting TJ over two years ago when our son was 13 years old. As parents of a budding baseball pitcher our first concern was keeping him safe and getting the best support possible to help him to excel.TJ explained to us that because our son was 6 feet tall at 13 years old we needed to think long-term with him. He took the time to explain that he was still growing into his body and would be a work in progress for a number of years. As we listened to TJ, we could see that he brought a passion to his training methods. From that first day over two years ago we’re happy to report that at 15 years old and 6’ 8” our son is still a work in progress, but we could not have partnered with a group that has more expertise and caring than TJ, Mike and the staff at AMP. With the AMP team it is always about what they can do to help make someone better. They tailor a program to help each individual to be the best he/she can be. TJ and Mike are inspiring, motivating, and a pleasure to work and collaborate with. We highly recommend TJ, Mike and the AMP team to anyone interested in helping their child to reach maximum potential.
I was introduced to the AMP Family by a former baseball coach. Throughout my first two months training with them, I have seen nothing but great results. The amount of strength I have gained is incredible and I cannot wait to see the improvements translate to the mound. The Recovery Lab has also helped keep me in the weight room on a daily basis without injury or extreme soreness. He [Mike S.] does a great job at keeping me in the best shape possible so I don’t breakdown and miss any days. Joining AMP has been one of the best decisions I have made and I look forward to my continued success with this group.

Coming into it I had no idea what to expect. It seemed as if my level of performance had hit a wall. The day I set foot inside the AMP facility, I knew I had started a special journey. The AMP Team members showed me that they were dedicated to helping me achieve my goals. Whether I was in the Recovery Lab or out following my individualized program, there has been an AMP Coach right by my side guiding me in the right direction. I am not part of an ordinary gym...I am part of a family that is pushing each other to be the best we can be. I couldn’t have dreamed to have as much growth and success as I have so far. TJ, Mike, and Kyle have gone above and beyond with what they have done for me and others. The only regret I have is that I wish I would have began training sooner. Don’t waste any more time, and become part of the AMP Family now!

Being a part of AMP is like being part of a family. The coaches there don’t just want you to get your work out done, they want you to crush your work out and strive for more. These coaches push you to go places you didn’t think was possible with [tough] love and motivation. In the two years of being a part of this family, I’ve not only bettered myself as an athlete, but as a competitor by becoming mentally tougher through the expectations and belief the AMP coaches have in me. I go back to school with not only confidence in my abilities, but the knowledge that I out worked my competition while I was at AMP. I am physically and mentally ready to crush the competition and any obstacles put in front of me, knowing that I not only worked my butt off, but have the support system to develop my game.

The AMP Family has helped me become the person I am today. You won’t find a better group of Strength Coaches and [Athletic] Trainers who really push you to bring out your best. Even all the athletes here push you to do better. I’m consistently learning something new every day from these guys and girls. It is like a family here. This family has really prepared me for college baseball and I am excited to come back here in the off-season. This is a family you want to be a part of.
AMP Athlete and Fordham University Catcher/1B, Brian Goulard
Since I first began working with the AMP Team, I’ve noticed obvious changes in my physical ability and also my attitude. The competitive atmosphere around the AMP community makes for an intense training environment. Competing against myself, and some of the most talented athletes on Long Island helps me mentally push myself to try and be the best athlete in there. With such an advanced gym, Recovery Lab, and Coaches, AMP really makes for a professional experience.

Before joining the AMP Team, I had severely limited mobility and strength in my surgically repaired shoulder. For over 8 months, I could not find answers or relief from the problems the surgery was supposed to fix...until I joined AMP. After seeing Mike in the Recovery Lab the first few times, I knew I had made the right decision. 2 short months later, I have regained nearly all the strength and mobility I had lost after my surgery, and most importantly, I became educated on how to help myself, and prevent future injuries. Thanks to AMP, I can finally get back to the activities I love doing.

When I first came to AMP I had shoulder problems, knee problems, back problems and ankle problems. Within my first 3 weeks of training and Recovery Lab, I went from having extensive shoulder pain to no pain at all with throwing. Since I began my training at AMP, I throw harder and hit harder with no pain at all. I’ve been to different doctors and through physical therapy multiple times, and the pain never went away. They kept telling me to stretch, and it only got worse. It only took three weeks to help my arm and now I play like I used to and better. This season is going to be my best season yet.
