TJ Lopez is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist who founded Athletic Movement Protocol in 2013.  He has trained countless high school and collegiate athletes throughout his career, as well as a number of professional athletes in a variety of sports.  Coach TJ serves as a personal performance coach to pro baseball players CC Sabathia and Dellin Betances as well as Pro mixed martial artists, Wayne Barrett and Lyman Good.  Coach Lopez is highly dedicated to educating athletes on proper training techniques to improve their performance on and off the field.  TJ possesses unrivaled knowledge of Nutrition and human physiology, and is able to teach and convey complex body systems so that they are easily understood by all of our athletes.  No matter what your goal, Coach Lopez can help design truly integrative programming that will allow you to reach and surpass them.  Coach Lopez's incredible attention to detail and program design gives AMP clients no other choice but to excel in life and sport.  

TJ is a Marist College graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Medicine, Health and Biology and was a member of the Red Fox Football team.

Head Athletic Trainer, Director, Recovery Lab

Mike Stella is a Certified Athletic Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Performance Enhancement Specialist who is dedicated to helping athletes overcome injuries and functional limitations.  Mike has rehabilitated and reconditioned athletes from a variety of levels and sports, not only helping them return to competition, but also increasing their resilience to future injury.  Coach Stella's potent combination of Manual Therapy techniques and corrective exercise work to identify and eliminate the underlying causes of injury, while educating athletes on best practices in training and recovery.  Mike has served as an Athletic Trainer for the Florida Gators Football and Track & Field teams, assisting in all facets of Sports Medicine, including injury evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation. While with the Gators, Mike developed his affinity for manual therapies, honing his skills with some of the best athletes, coaches and multidisciplinary medical staff in the nation. After his time at Florida, Mike was hired as the Rehabilitation Coordinator and Athletic Trainer at George Washington University. In this capacity, Mike was responsible for the healthcare of the Men's Soccer Team, as well as all post-operative rehabilitation for all GWU Student-Athletes. Since then, Mike has seen time at LIU Brooklyn University as an Athletic Trainer for Men's Soccer and Baseball, before being hired as the Lead Athletic Trainer for the US Athletic Training Center.

Mike is a Marist College Graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training.  He also holds a Masters Degree in Sports Management from George Washington University.  While at Marist, Stella played Lacrosse helping the Red Foxes earn a MAAC Championship in 2005.

Sports Performance Coach

Coach Kyle Andersen graduated from SUNY Cortland with a bachelors degree in Fitness Development.  Coach Kyle brings a wealth of passion and knowledge in a variety of sports and disciplines.  Coach Kyle specializes in Speed and Agility training, and with a careful eye and attention to detail, can identify faulty movement that can decrease force output.  He utilizes intelligent and innovative methods to teach and correct sprinting mechanics, improving any athletes top end speed as well as change of direction and agility.  He is one of only a small number of coaches to carry the Certified Speed and Agility Credential by Athletes Acceleration.   Coach Kyle played collegiate baseball for Cortland's SUNYAC championship team in 2011, and brings that team experience and competitive spirit to the AMP Performance Center.

Sports Performance Coach

Coach Joe DelGiudice graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science.  A former Division 1 Pitcher, Joe brings his experience as a collegiate baseball player to the AMP Training Center every day.  Proficient in multiple training disciplines, including, Powerlifting and Olympic Lifting, Joe has a quiet demeanor, but is detail oriented, making sure that all athletes are performing their programs safely and efficiently.

Joe also heads up Research and Development for AMPs rapidly growing Optimal Arm Project.  Having performed the program himself, ensuring that it creates the best possible adaptations, while reducing injury risk.  Where else can you get coached by a lefty who still throws 90+...
